The Mindset You NEED When You're Going Through

Updated: May 15

We all have problems. Most of them are silly when we really think about it, but some of them are dangerous, heartbreaking, hell-in-a-bucket problems.

It doesn’t matter how old you are, what your religion is, or who your family is (or isn’t)–we all just have problems.

We tend to feel like no one is there, like we’re just wandering through a wilderness by ourselves sometimes when it gets really tough, but the truth is quite the opposite. Christ is with us as His children. Christ was with me.

The transformation that my life has undergone testifies to the goodness and the mercy of the Lord in the midst of the troubles I’ve faced (no, I'm not crying. you are. sniffle).

In fact, I’m sure not too far from now I’ll look back on life and read this again and realize, again, that God had a strong hand on my life, helping me through.

Look around your life. Search out and see how God is moving, rather than how things seem not to be moving.

Ponder on the ‘coincidences’ you keep chalking everything up to, and give glory to God.

Nothing is by chance. Nothing is random. There is a Creator, an awesome Father, a righteous Judge who oversees all. (we have been given free will in case your mind just thought of all the terrible things going on in the world like mine always does on this topic; someone who is just will not keep breaking their own rule to control you, but fulfill all perfectly to repair the man-made breaches).

God is sovereign and full of love, wisdom, and the ability to execute judgement and justice in the earth.

Walking with Him instead of alone is the key to everything you are lacking in life.

We were created to yearn for and be with Him. If you don’t know Him, seek Him out.

Don’t like what you’ve heard about Him? Try Him in earnest, and find out who He is for yourself.

Continue on. Things get better...

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places… And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Ephesians 6:12 + Romans 8:28.
