How many times a day do you see something or hear something and go, “I could do that” or “I’ve always wanted to do that” or “I know I could be amazing in this space…one day I really wanna pursue this some more. ; ?
There’s nothing wrong with being inspired…just don’t stop there.
Make something happen.
What’s the use in feeling motivated, feeling that excitement, if the passion in the moment just keeps passing you by and you continue to do . Nothing with how you feel, nothing with what you want, nothing with the ideas and thoughts of greatness that zoom through your mind every now and then. The scary part about it is that after a while you begin to stifle your very Self so much that you don’t even recognize your thirst for more anymore. You feel like you just don’t feel anything, like you have no passion, like you care about nothing or like nothing grabs and holds your attention for any length of time at all. You wanna live a life with no regrets? You wanna get so lost in a moment like that lady was on that commercial eating her Milky Way that you screw up someone’s ink for life? (lol).
Then stop stifling yourself. Stop pacifying yourself with excuses.
Stop ignoring what draws you. Pounce on every and anything that excites you and “gives you life”. Capitalize on your strengths and talents, and starve your weaknesses every way you can.
Force yourself into the lane of ACTION, where the Executers and the Overcomers live; where the DO-ers live. Stop thinking your way out of ever actually doing anything. Stop worrying your way out of ever actually Starting anything. Go take a class, go write something, go start your business, go perform at an open mic, go paint something. Whatever it is, go do it. Go feel it. It doesn’t have to mean it’s your whole life, maybe it’s just something you know you’re interested in .
The best way to avoid having those wistful, “I always wondered what would happen if I…” pains is to go explore that thing . Do it now. Think about it now. Make plans now. Travel now. Go to museums now. Plan trips now. Write a book now. Start a blog now. Don’t worry about being qualified. Don’t care about looking silly. Don’t fear failure,
Who knows what could happen? The outcome just might surprise you.
Believe in yourself.
Stay.
“No Regerts”,
Marie
